Penzance

Penzance, the final railway destination of Cornwall, has numerous points of interest. These include the National Lighthouse Museum, the Penlee House Art Gallery and Museum (home to many fine examples of Newlyn School paintings), the Geological Museum and the Museum of Shipwrecks. It is possible to take a day trip from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly by boat or helicopter.
